Mealworm Farm
Our ancestors would be surprised. Hopefully, they would also be proud, even though our farming style is a bit different.
We love traditions but would like to protect the long-term sustainability of our planet as well. Change is needed. So we decided to rear a low-energy-demanding insect that was at the same time packed full of proteins, beneficial fats, vitamins, and minerals. Compared to traditional animal production, much less water, soil, or land is needed. We think the good old classic way starts to belong to history.
We specialize in yellow mealworm breeding (Tenebrio monitor), mostly for pet food and animal feed producers and also for human consumption.
